Rapid Bus Complying With Police Investigation Of Jln Kuchai Maju Fatal Crash


KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 19 (Bernama) — Rapid Bus Sdn Bhd (Rapid Bus) is fully cooperating with police in the investigation of an incident involving a Rapid KL On-Demand van (Taman OUG-Kuchai Lama route) which struck down a pedestrian on Jalan Kuchai Maju on Sept 14.

Rapid Bus today stated that the driver involved has been suspended from duty with immediate effect while the investigation is underway in the incident where the pedestrian was killed in the collision.

“We understand the public’s concerns following the incident and extend our deepest condolences and sympathy to the victim’s family for their loss,” the statement added.

Rapid Bus also assured that the safety of road users and the public is always a priority, in addition to reviewing internal operating procedures to ensure a higher level of safety across all services.

The company also appreciated ​​feedback from the public and requested that all parties give space to the ongoing investigation.
